Ghost cat. Spotted that thing in the middle of the night, crawling beside the wall. I don’t know the exact time but time didn’t matter anyway.
I’ve felt that a lot lately, I don’t mind time. I have appointments and meetings and tasks and I follow a schedule but I don’t mind time. I’m not late nor am I early, I just don’t mind time. Let time pass. Even if I’m spending the nights awake, talking to a great person I definitely do not mind the time.

Black-and-white or just winter?
Does it matter? Kind of but not really. Sometimes the real colors and the color You perceive do not match. What affects this? Many things. In this marvelous digital age color is represented by the visual code we see on our many screens. Image on a screen is usually made up pixels.

These pixels form colors and images based on voltage that is passed through them. Colors are made from red, green and blue. So the final color in an image is a mix of those three. Our brains translate these pixel variations into colors and that is how we see color.
Then there are display calibrations and different quality of displays, people and their eyes. We can’t presume that every person that looks at a photograph sees the same colors in the same temperature as we do. I guess that can be applied to other aspects of human condition as well. There will always be different perspectives and opinions because people are different.

Snow, people and decorations have taken over the Old Town of Estonia and it’s even more beautiful than usually. I have been consumed with my 1 year photography project and until recently with darkness in the lower decks of my soul as events in the personal life have been causing pain.
Recently I have found a new source of inspiration and am resuming much of the activity that got put on hold when, pardon the expression, shit hit the fan. I’m nearing the deadline for my overall project and it’s exciting but there is still a lot of work to be done.
Here is what I saw one evening in the Old Town, excuse the heavy editing at some points but I did pick the wrong lens for the type of shooting I had to do. Anyway, pictures:

Update

I still love photography and still like sharing my work. The reason this page is dead is because I started phase 2 of my photo project and I really can’t share any photos I take specifically for that project. So besides a few personal event I’m mostly shooting for the project and thus will not be sharing much here.

So that is what is going on :) I’m happy to be working on the photo thing though and things are looking promising. I’m perfectly in schedule as of now.

Summer is back and why not burn some wood and grill some meat on a lovely day huh.

I went to check out a local fashion show the other day, just to capture some people and movement - by far the most horrible and difficult thing to do but that’s where the challenge was. The body paintings were great and very colorful, interesting subject to photograph to say the least.
